To be the best turkey hunters we can be we need to continue to increase our knowledge of all things wild turkeys, but we also need to take care of ourselves. Turkey hunting can be a physically demanding activity depending on your hunting style and your hunting location. Being in good physical condition can improve not only our happiness while in the turkey woods, but also can help us to be more successful.
From strength training to cardio to stretching our muscles, there are numerous exercises that we can do to improve our ability to beat a bird to where he wants to go, to improve our ability to hold and aim our guns, and to help our hearts and legs push us over that next hill to a gobbling turkey.
Our instructors will show you some simple exercises for you to do at home in as little as 30 minutes each day 3 to 4 days per week that will help you become a better turkey hunter and a healthier person.
